Ona Alborada Aparthotel - Costa Del Silencio

It was our third stay. We especially love the exceptional seawater pool and the proximity to the people of Las Galletas. Even if the facilities are not new, the staff (service, cleaning, animators) and especially the reception staff make every effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We'll book again.

The night noise of other holiday guests on a balcony. We haven't slept well for two nights because of this.

I had all inclusive, the food in the restaurant was inedible, it was salty or so dry that you couldn't get it down! There was a lot on offer, but none of it tasted good except the dessert, which was the only thing to eat! Didn't go out to eat there either! Then there was our kitchen, not even the stove was working! No ski towels available or washing-up liquid! What is the point of having a kitchen in your room if you can't use it!

Great value for the money! Not so far from the Airport (Tenerife South). 4 times per day all inclusive meals were provided and drinks during the day as well. Salty swimming pool. Very big hotel, but was very quite there. Some facilities and shows during the day and evening.

Hard to find the hotel- there is no exect address was given and there is no indicator signs in the city. Waited 50 min. In a huge queue to check in. Sometimes queues in th restaurant for lunch and dinner. Some staff people speak not fluent english and sometimes was hard to get the answer on a question.

Everything was quiet good. Realy big apartament. Even though there is no special place for parking, we had no dificulty parking our car by the hotel. Very beautiful views over looking the ocean. The Pool was also big and good.

There is a small beach by the pool, but it is very dangerous for inexperienced swimmers.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful.

Not a great choice of hot food but always something we could eat.

We explored Mount Teide and enjoyed the activities at the hotel, with plenty of sunbathing and evening entertainment. The large terraces were perfect for lounging, and the children's pool kept our little ones happy. Definitely recommend checking out the excursions available!

We got a late deal - 3 days all inclusive for around £85 this was a bargain given how much food/drink you could have. The saltwater pool was great and the rooms were tidy and comfortable. The food catered for most peoples tastes. Given the price this was a great stay

The exterior of the hotel is quite datesd (obviously not much can be done about this) but the rooms were clean and comfortable which made up for this. All in all not much to not to enjoy.

Everything was just perfect for the price! Our one-bedroom apartment was fabulous, and the view from the terrace was magnificent. The staff, especially at reception, were kind and helpful. The large saltwater pool and proximity to the beach were big highlights!

All-inclusive drinks and food, amazing pool (though we didn't get to take full advantage of it because of the weather), fun if not a bit cheesy activities at the pool bar (eagle show, kid's disco). This place is a real throw-back to the 60s-70s - very retro! But, that's part of the charm, I think! It is a great place for kids - play ground and wonderful pool area, etc. The staff was always very helpful, too.

The town of Las Galletas itself is not so great - pretty run down compared to other towns in the area (El Medano for example). However, it has everything you need, including a supermarket near by. Be aware that if you are using public transport, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, but the busses don't always run on schedule... Also, though the apartments were stocked with dish ware and basic cookery, there were no utensils or matches with which to light the stove (we got some from the front desk easily, though). If we ever come back to Tenerife, we'll probably choose to stay in El Medano for the better beaches and nicer town, but Alborada certainly provided us with enough of what we needed for a couple of nights.
